Chronicles of Sharnia

I know.. kind of a creepy way to start out this post... especially after slacking this week! I have so many great blogs that I want to feature but I read THIS post on Chronicles of Sharnia and thought it was worth sharing... Blabworthy I guess you could say.

If you haven't clicked over there yet let me introduce you to this blog... Chronicles of Sharnia.

"Once an urban party gal, Sharnia is now a Mama living in a small town with a farmer and their son.
She has finally learnt that happiness is something that comes from within. Not from clothes, where you live, or what you consume."

Now that you have met, let me go back to the picture I started with. She wrote about true beauty and how we as women get so lost in what the media tells us we need to look like.
"WE ARE good enough and it has NOTHING to do with what we look like!"

Amen to that!

She doesn't always write such intense blog posts. She shares her life, her thoughts, interviews, book reviews, and everything in between. For a chuckle check out her Ode to PMS. I am sure a lot of women can relate!

Head on over and get to know Sharnia. Be sure to say HI when you visit and let her know that the Blog Blabbers say HI too!

I love the title of this blog. Wingin' It - Tales of a Girl's Attempt at Life, could there be a more perfect, hit it right on the nose blog title out there?

This blog is so fun loving, cute, inspiring, and encouraging. I love reading about someone's life that encourages others to be as happy about life as they are.

This lovely lady is getting married soon so she discusses the wedding plans, why today is so lovely, vacations, and so much more. I promise you will fall in love with her spunk and spirit for life immediately.

Here is a glimpse at some of her upcoming wedding decisions that she invites us to join her in!

Debt Kid

I stumbled on this blog the other day and it has really intrigued me...

In his early 20's, after accumulating over $250K in debt, he began to pick up the pieces and started this blog...

"I started this blog originally as just a journey to keep me on track, as well as have a place to process everything that was happening. That’s still pretty much the focus of the blog, though I do write some helpful posts like how to raise your credit score from time to time.

I don’t know what my future is going to look like. I do know that I’ve grown a ton in the past year, largely in part because of this blog. My readers keep me accountable and inspire me to keep going, even when I get overwhelmed with the enormity of the situation."

These last few years have been a little rough for most people. There has been a shift in focus to eliminating debt and this blog is a great resource.

This blogger has a entire DebtKid Blog Team of about 8 people that contribute to this blog (click the link to meet them) that are all in the process of eliminating their debt. They all have a different story but all share the same ultimate goal.

Follow along these journeys... pick up some interesting information... learn something new...

Jessica tells about the Turning Point in her journey here. She shares an interesting perspective of a situation she had at a bus stop that most wouldn't have even thought twice about.

This post is worth checking out too... You Are Not What You Drive, Right? I hate to admit it but the city I live in is full of what I have heard termed "$30,000 millionaires". Hmmm...
"I drive a Dodge Stratus!"

Here are 5 Lessons From Financial Peace University that are worth taking a look at.

What I have really enjoyed about this blog so far is the honesty. No one has it all figured out... everyone is on a journey... and honest journey to reach their goal and sharing their tips along the way.

Take a browse at DebtKid and take a look around!
Don't forget to say HI from Blabbing about Blogs!

I'm an Organizing Junkie!

Meet Laura - a work at home mom in Canada.

Not only does she have a love for organizing (she refers to herself as ' The Freak') but she is darn good at it!

Do you need a little organizing help or someone to just share the "organizing passion" with? Check out her Process to getting your organizing started.

She also does Product Reviews! Get the real scoop on whether or not something is really worth it or lives up to its promises.

How about her affinity for containers? Can anyone else out there relate?
I definitely can... except my picture would be full of wooden baskets of all sorts instead of plastic. I confess that I will use a basket anywhere that I can to store things.

If you have ever surfed the mom blogger world, it would be hard to have missed seeing Menu Plan Monday on someone's blog. Laura is the culprit to starting this link party. Writing menu's weekly has always been something that I do but I like to check hers out (and browse through some of the links) because a lot of times people post the recipes with their menus! I am often looking for ways to get out of my cooking rut of the same 5 meals.

Laura's blog is fabulous and gives that boost of motivation needed to get things organized... or at least the motivation to think about organizing...

Check our I'm an Organizing Junkie and tell her we said Hello!
